Refund Policy

College Cost Compass ("CCC," "we," "us," "our") is an online college cost estimator that generates self serve, automated college cost and financial aid estimates. The $50 membership provides one year of access from the day you pay, and nothing renews automatically.

1. What you're buying

A one-year membership with automated estimated award letters based on the information you submit. This is an informational tool, not personalized financial, tax, or legal advice, and not a guarantee of any college's actual cost, aid offer, or award.

2. 7-day membership refund

Not happy? Email us within 7 days of paying, tell us why, and we'll refund you.

Before your year ends, we'll invite you to renew your membership. Nothing renews automatically.

3. Technical errors and double charges

We will also issue a full refund at any time if:

you were charged but could not access your membership due to a technical error on our end; or
you were charged more than once for the same membership (duplicate charge).

4. How to request a refund

Email us at info@collegecostcompass.com or write to College Cost Compass, PO Box 5142, Haverhill, MA 01835-9991. We aim to respond within 5 business days.

5. Processing time

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days, subject to your card issuer's or bank's own posting timelines.

6. Chargebacks

If you have a billing concern, please contact us first. Most issues can be resolved faster directly than through a card dispute.
